We will be geologists for two weeks. This week we will discuss two types of rocks: igneous (melted rock that has cooled), and sedimentary (bits and pieces of rock and debris pressed together and formed under pressure over time). We examine some rock samples, and we "create" our own igneous and sedimentary rocks.
For snack, we mix and eat "sedimentary rock" crispy rice treats, which somewhat illustrate the process through which sedimentary rock is formed. Delicious!
